Campers - 2008 Bring it / Leave it
A major reason for having a camping session is to remove one's self from the daily distractions of life that call attention away from the things of God. It may be schedules filled with games, jobs, or gatherings. It may be friends that want to hang out or TV shows that just 'have to be' watched. Whatever the thing may be that eats up one's time or demands one's attention - the result is all-to-often the same: Little or no time or energy to "seek His kingdom and His righteousness." The primary reason for a Christian camping experience is to leave the distractions of life behind for a while so as to remember and re-commit to things eternal. "If then you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth."
