Campers - 2008 How to Register (for parents/guardians)
We want the registration process to flow smoothly. The following steps have been outlined to ease getting the young person enrolled for a great day or week of camp. The first three steps deal with "pre-registration." A pre-registered camper benefits both the camper and the camp. You are assured of a 'place' in camp for your camper as we (obviously) have a limited number of spaces for both girls and boys. The camp can better estimate the supplies needed (food and sundries) for the week and bulk order these things, thus reducing the little supplimental supply runs which run into higher costs for us and, ultimately, for you. We hope this guide helps.
Fill out the registration form completely. Include the appropriate signatures, insurance information, and be sure to list the specific camp week and date.
A registration form now is available online.
Click >HERE< to download the registration form (a .pdf file). If your computer cannot read a .pdf file, click >HERE< to download a fast, versitile little .pdf reader for your system (you can even type right on the .pdf form through this program if you choose!).
Mail the completed registration form along with at least half of the registration fee to the Camp's P.O. Box address (at the top of the form) at least two weeks prior to the camp date chosen. The registration fees for all Camp Sessions are listed >HERE<.
If you register at least 14 days prior to the camp week, you will receive a confirmation card by mail to confirm your registration. Bring this card with your camper on registration day, the first day of camp.
On the first day of each week of camp the doors open for registration at 3:00 p.m. on Sundays and 9:00 a.m. on other days. Registration takes place in the tan Registration building
west of the flagpole (building #2). Those who are pre-registered will use the express line, while walk-ins will use the other line. DO NOT MOVE INTO THE DORM BEFORE COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.
When you check your camper in at the Registration building, present the confirmation card. You will be asked about money for snack times and then given a final amount for the registration fee. Make checks payable to: PSCSC. Snack fees and mission offerings can be included in one check with the registration fee.
Once the camper fees have been paid, please take medication for the camper to the camp nurse. He will itemize the medications and their proper dosages so that the camper will be properly attended. He will have a table in the Registration building during the registration process or in his office
(building #1).
After registering, you may move the camper and luggage into the dorm (Boys
, Girls
), choosing any bed not already claimed. Campers may save bunks for others by asking the manager for a reservation tag.
Please do not move any of the bunk beds. The State of Illinois requires 30 inches of space between bunk beds.
